Common questions about the free tier, the 3-Day Pass, and the $39 Pro Pass.

No. The free tier works without any account — paste a URL, get a CSV. The first 100 comments of any video are free. No credit card, no email required.

After the first 100 free comments, you can unlock a video's full comment set for just $1 per 100 comments, with a $3 minimum per export (e.g. a 340-comment video is $3.40; anything under 300 comments is the $3 minimum). It's a one-time charge for that export — no signup, no subscription. If you export a lot, the 3-Day Pass is better value — $9 one-time.

Pay per export is $10 per 1,000 comments ($1 per 100, $3 minimum). On the $9 3-Day Pass, a single 10,000-comment post works out to $0.90 per 1,000 comments; on the $39 3-Day Pro Pass, a single 100,000-comment post works out to $0.39 per 1,000. Passes cover unlimited posts while they are active, so every extra post you export in the window lowers the cost per 1,000 further.

It's a one-time payment. After sign-in and Stripe checkout, you get 3 full days of unlimited exports across all supported platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, Threads, Lemon8), covering posts of up to 10,000 comments each — more than 99% of posts. For bigger posts, the $39 Pro Pass covers up to 100,000 comments per post.

No. The pass is a one-time charge — it does not auto-renew, there is no subscription, and you will not be charged again unless you choose to extend.

Yes. Buying another pass while one is still active adds 3 days to your current expiry instead of replacing it — so you do not lose remaining time by extending early.

No. Like the 3-Day Pass it is a one-time charge — no subscription, no auto-renew. You are only charged again if you choose to buy another pass.

Yes — if the export tool fails to deliver the comments you paid for, contact us and we will refund. For the 3-Day Pass, since it is a one-time charge with full access for 3 days, refunds are issued case-by-case when the issue is on our side.

Exports are kept for 30 days so you can re-download from the same link, then deleted. We do not sell, share, or analyze your exported data — it is purely a delivery mechanism.

Not on the free tier — bulk export is a paid feature. A pass lets you paste up to 20 post links at once, with unlimited posts while it is active; for hundreds or thousands of posts in a single batch, or posts over 100,000 comments, we quote volume pricing per job and deliver one merged CSV, Excel or JSON. ZocialComment reads only public comments — the same thread a logged-out visitor can see on the post. It never asks for your social media login or password, never posts, likes, follows or replies from any account, and cannot read private accounts, DMs, or comments the platform hides or holds for review. Exports are kept for 30 days, then deleted. It exports comments from the posts you choose, so it works alongside a social listening suite rather than replacing always-on brand-mention monitoring.
